Tyson’s Strauss Ball 2023
Come experience a real Viennese Ball at an elegant metro accessible venue in McLean, VA!
Dress up and join us at the prestigious Capital One Hall for an elegant evening of dancing on a 2500 sq feet floating wood dance floor in the first ever Tyson’s Strauss Ball! The ball features live music by con Brio and the famous Fledermaus Quadrille #6 led by Carol Traxler!
Light refreshments/snacks available for purchase, as well as a cash bar.
Attire: Formal encouraged; semi-formal allowed.
Music: Featuring exquisite live Strauss and other music by the con Brio orchestra and a selection of Waltzes and other partner dances
Regular: $70 ea/ $130 couple + ticket fees
Student w/ID: $30 ea + fees ($35 after 14 Feb)
Military w/ID: $50 ea + fees ($60 after 14 Feb)

The Tyson’s Strauss Ball will take place in the Capital One Vault, part of Capital One Hall. The Ball is part of a larger dance festival happening all day, beginning with an Argentine Tango Milonga with lessons (see separate event page for information on the milonga). It is also part of a multi-day festival by IASPAW.
Hosts: Todd Borzych and Migle Gineityte from Dance Sport Endurance and Cecelia Tabois/IASPAW. Todd and Migle have been performing at and attending Viennese Waltz Balls for twenty years. They have performed solo at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, the Austrian Embassy, French Embassy, Kennedy Center, Melon Auditorium, and other prestigious venues. They are excited to bring their love of Waltz to area dancers!
