Join Meeting to Discuss Linway Terrace Park Synthetic Turf Conversion Project
The Park Authority has received a proposal from McLean Little League to fund the conversion of the grass baseball diamond at Linway Terrace Park to synthetic turf. The 10.7-acre park is utilized by local youth sports leagues and residents. Amenities include a synthetic turf soccer field, a grass baseball diamond, multiple tennis and basketball courts, and a playground.
In collaboration with the Dranesville District Supervisor’s Office, the Park Authority will hold a virtual information meeting for members of the community to provide a brief presentation on the scope of the proposal followed by a facilitated question and answer period. The meeting is for informational purposes only, the decision to approve will not be undertaken at this meeting.
