Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing with music from Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict

 

Hailed by The Washington Post as “A concept that’s clever and performers who give their all…” Shakespeare Opera Theatre brings their signature classical mash-up to McLean & The Plains this July- this time with a journey to Sicily in Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing with music from Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict punctuating throughout. In English and French (with surtitles), this fully staged “surround-sound sensation” (Shakespearances) will leave you breathless with laughter and tears, not to mention full of delicious Sicilian and French delicacies from Baguette Republic (Focaccia pizza and biscotti! Quiche and croissants! Limoncello lemonade!)
